One-day workshop “Training Workshop on Climate Change and Water Resources Management” on May 12, 2026, in Sharana, Paktika Province.

Environment Coordination Platform (CECOP), in coordination, organized a one-day workshop titled “Training Workshop on Climate Change and Water Resources Management” on May 12, 2026, in Sharana, Paktika Province.

The workshop was conducted to enhance the capacity and awareness of environmental activists and volunteers, farmers, and other members of the community in Paktika Province.

Around 80 participants, including environmental activists and volunteers, farmers, and community members, attended the workshop.

The workshop continued with presentations delivered by environmental and water resource management specialists. Group discussions were also held, during which participants shared their challenges and recommendations regarding climate change and water resource management with the organizers and provincial authorities, and called for continued support.
