Meeting of the Climate and Environment Coordination Platform with the National Environmental Protection Agency

On Monday, October 6, 2024 (14th of Mizan 1403, Solar Hijri Calendar), the members of the Climate and Environment Coordination Platform met with Honorable Mawlawi Mutiul Haq Khalis, Director General of the National Environmental Protection Agency.

This meeting, held in the Band-e-Amir Hall of the National Environmental Protection Agency with the enthusiastic presence of the volunteer team, provided an opportunity for dialogue and better understanding.

During the session, members of the platform, who had participated from the capital and various provinces, presented the activities and objectives of the platform and emphasized their commitment to supporting and cooperating with the National Environmental Protection Agency.

The Climate and Environment Coordination Platform, as an environmental entity, operates nationally and locally in the fields of awareness-raising, capacity building, research, and environmental advocacy.

The Director General of NEPA expressed gratitude and appreciation for the efforts of this volunteer team and the communication office, reaffirming his commitment to greater collaboration and support for the platform’s goals. The meeting also highlighted the importance of protecting the country’s natural resources and strengthening cooperation between both sides to ensure a sustainable and healthy future for the next generations.
