Launch of the Tree Planting Campaign of the Climate and Environment Coordination Platform (CECOP) for the year 2024
We are thrilled to announce the kick-off of the Tree Plantation Campaign by the Climate and Environment Coordination Platform (CECOP) for 2024.
Today, we came together at Kabul University to commence a journey towards a greener and healthier planet. Esteemed speakers emphasized the crucial role of planting trees in fighting climate change and preserving the beauty of our environment.
The Deputy Director of the National Environmental Protection Agency urged all Afghans to join hands in this noble cause. Planting just one tree can make a big difference, not just for us, but also for generations to come.
In addition, the Dean of the Environment Faculty explained how planting trees is vital for nurturing our planet. He emphasized that each tree planted serves as a beacon of hope for a sustainable future.
CECOP is committed to continuing these efforts and actively participating in the national plantation campaign. Planting trees today means investing in a better tomorrow! We're grateful for the overwhelming support as we board on this journey towards a greener, more resilient Afghanistan.
