Zarghoon Miras Tree Planting Campaign

Title: “Zarghoon Miras” Tree Planting Campaign

The “Zarghoon Miras” tree planting campaign was held on March 10, 2025, in collaboration with TLO, CECOP, and ADSDO, with the participation of the Herat Provincial Environmental Department and the administrations of several high schools including Goharshad, Razi Girls’, Esteqlal Girls’, and Dasht.

The event, aimed at increasing greenery, improving air quality, and promoting a culture of environmental protection, was warmly welcomed by students and school officials. During the campaign, dozens of saplings were planted in the schoolyards, which will grow into vibrant green spaces for students and local residents in the future.

The Herat Environmental Department emphasized the importance of protecting natural resources and the role of each individual in reducing pollution. Participants also pledged to care for and regularly water the saplings, taking an active step toward greener surroundings and mitigating the impacts of climate change.
