Green Future Writing Competition
TLO, under its Environment and Natural Resources Project, organized a Green Writing Competition for university students in 2024. This competition aimed to engage young minds in research and critical thinking on environmental issues, particularly climate change and its impact on different sectors in Afghanistan. Students from various universities across the country participated, submitting papers that showcased their analytical skills and understanding of environmental challenges.
The competition saw active participation from students who addressed pressing topics related to climate change, its effects on water resources, energy, and the broader environmental concerns faced by Afghanistan. A panel of experts and an evaluation committee meticulously reviewed the submissions, ultimately selecting the top four papers based on their relevance, depth of research, and quality of analysis.
