Sustainable Future Workshop in Farah Province

A one-day public awareness and capacity building workshop was held in the beautiful Farah province under the theme of sustainable future and fighting against the challenge of climate change.

Climate and Environment Coordinating Platform CECOP, in collaboration with the Liaison Office (TLO), held a one-day workshop to raise awareness and capacity on climate change and solutions on 15^th May 2024 in Farah city, the center of Farah province. Around 80 participants from different parts of the society took part in the mentioned workshop.

The purpose of this program was to increase people's awareness and capacity about the environment and climate change. In this one-day workshop, professional and scientific presentations were given by the members of the Climate and Environment Coordination Platform CECOP and the professors of Kabul University to the participants.

At the end of the workshop, the participants shared their thoughts and experiences about climate change in Farah province.
