tree plantation campaign in kabul
The Environment and Natural Resources Monitoring Network, in coordination with the National Environmental Protection Agency, organized a tree plantation campaign on the 2nd March 2023, in Maranjan Hill, Kabul, with the presence of high-ranking officials, relevant organizations, and civil society organizations. The purpose of this campaign is to raise awareness about the benefits of planting, to promote the culture of tree plantation, and to encourage public to take active part in improving the country’s environment. During this event, 1000 trees were planted in Maranjan Hill and ENRMN will continue to plant more trees during this campaign.
The Environment and Natural Resources Monitoring Network encourages everyone to plant at least one tree to contribute to the greenness of the country and leave a sound environment to future generations.
